ClearV by Sciton offers a complete vascular solution for individuals looking to say farewell to stubborn vessels anywhere on the body. Vascular lesions don’t usually go away on their own, but ClearV delivers targeted and precise 1064nm laser energy to gently eliminate vascular structures. Sciton’s ClearV technology is the gold standard for treating vascular skin concerns thoroughly, effectively, and comfortably on any complexion year-round.
At Michigan State University, our medical aestheticians perform thousands of Sciton laser treatments each year and are among the top performing practices in Michigan by volume of treatments. As a Sciton Distinguished Partner and Dual Joule Elite Provider, MSU Aesthetics & Laser Treatment Center has attained multiple recognition awards by Sciton, our primary device platform and leader in energy-based medical aesthetics.
For more complex cases such as varicose veins or vascular disease, we refer our clientele across the hall to the talented medical providers at MSU Health Care Heart and Vascular Center.
ClearV eliminates target vessels without damaging the skin by applying targeted heat to clear away vascular lesions. Using a subsurface vein illuminator (SVI™), visibility is enhanced to target hidden subsurface and feeder veins using two colors of light. SVI offers custom color blending and three brightness intensities to help illuminate targets for more precise treatment. Using yellow and orange lights, the LEDs around the sapphire plate illuminate unwanted vessels to allow for precise targeting and treatment. 1064nm laser pulses are absorbed by the unwanted vessels, closing them, and preventing them from returning. The vessels are then eliminated naturally by the body over time. After a ClearV treatment, undesirable visible micro vessels and resistant subsurface vessels fade and become less noticeable.
